Today's guest graduated from Duke University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Engineering in BioMedical and Medical engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. As an undergraduate fellow his neuroscience research focused on the link between functional structural changes in the brain that happen as you age, and how this can affect economic decision making. He has also researched neuro prosthetics, his work linked reward-based behaviour coding with motor area activation in monkeys. Wow. While he was in school he was the Editor in Chief of the Neurogenesis Journal of Undergraduate Research. He worked briefly as a Developer and Program Analyst at Brigham Women’s Hospital in Boston, and as a full stack developer at Ecovent. He then Co-Founds a company called Rendever, which aims to overcome the issue of social isolation in Seniors through the power of virtual reality and shared experiences. He was listed as a Forbes 30 under 30 in the category of Consumer Technology. Today’s guest is none other than Kyle Rand, Co-Founder and CEO of Rendever.
